Shred Station acquires Paper Waste Confidential

PW Confidential was established in 1997. It provided paper shredding and recycling services to customers in Cumbria, Lancashire and Southern Scotland for over 25 years.

In 2024, the company decided it was time to pass the baton over. Shred Station was the obvious choice as another independently owned business that leads the industry with customer service and security. They couldn’t think of a better company to trust their customers with.

Kristian Carter, Commercial Director at Shred Station, oversaw the acquisition. Working closely with PW Confidential’s Owner and Managing Director, the transition has been seamless. We can happily report that PW Confidential customers are now receiving services from Shred Station. They also have a whole range of new benefits.

This is Shred Station’s third acquisition, and so far, it has been as straightforward as the previous two – Anglian Confidential and Kenny’s Shredding.

As of 1st July, all regular PW Confidential customers have been receiving services from Shred Station. Customers’ site contacts can now receive our live service tracking messages, and all compliance records, such as Waste Transfer Notes and Certificates of Destruction, are being sent digitally after service completion.
